Trapped waves on interfacial hydraulic falls over bottom obstacles

چکیده

Work on the interfacial hydraulic falls of a two-layer stratified flow generated by an obstacle at bottom is extended. Interfacial for transcritical flows are calculated numerically solving full Euler equations. New steady solutions characterized train waves trapped between two successive obstacles with various geometrical properties, which wavelength can be well predicted linear dispersion relation, found.
